v.6.0 Release!


Hi! Part 2 of v.5.0 has been turned into v.6.0 for Vanilla Plus., (this update!) which includes a brand new Daily Challenge mode.

Daily Challenge is a game mode that changes each day. In the Daily Challenge, you play through a run with special rules and modifiers:

  • Begin with a random level 2 starting unit that cannot be sold
  • A random NG+ level. Usually 0-5, but has a chance of sometimes being higher than 5.
  • A random number of classes will be banned, units with these classes will not be able to be found. There can also be no class bans.
  • A random enemy type is assigned to the enemy weight. This enemy type will have a higher chance of spawning, and a chance to spawn in any level.
  • Run Rules are random rules that affect the gameplay of the daily challenge, 3 of them are chosen and can be positive or negative. At the moment, there are 15 positive rules and 15 negative rules, for a total of 30.

New content! Including:

  • 13 new units, with a focus on Healers and Nobles: Prince, Baron, Maid, Chancellor, Viceroy, Elder Guardian, Wedding Planner, Savior, Lapidary, Yeti, Ferret, Bride, Thorne.
  • 24 new items, with a focus on Revenant and Noble synergies: Thread of Decay, Indomitable Will, Ashen Heart, Demonic Gaze, Limbo, Necrotic Surge, Lifeleech, Grasp of Death, Courtly Charm, Light's Protection, Orb Amplification, Vital Echo, Healing Attack, Power of Faith, Healing Wave, Sweet Melody, Healing Scepter, Cursed Ofuda, Enchanted Ribbon, Royal Necklace, Thunderclap, Overkill, Sharp Quiver, Gilded Brooch.
  • New enemy: Buffer - These enemies are pink-magenta and will target a single enemy. The targeted enemy will gain buffs for a set duration, and after some time will also gain an invincibility shield. These buffs and shield can be ended prematurely if the Buffer is killed off. The Buffer will follow the ally it's healing. At the end of the ability, the targeted enemy will also receive a moderate heal. The cooldown, buff & shield duration, buff strength and healing amount of the Buffer increase as NG+ goes up.
  • Buffed enemy: Dotter - Increased DoT tick speed, DMG and size. Increased base speed but lowered base health. Tweaked color.
  • Reworked unit: Avenger - Level 1/2/3 - Gains +1 stack of life every 24/20/16 seconds. When an ally dies, attempts to use a stack to revive them with full HP and +25% max HP.
  • Buffed units: Demon (increased instakill chance), Pianist (projectile damage is multiplied by 20% of own attack speed), Defender (barricade HP x3 > x5 of defender's max HP, x2 with each level)
  • Nerfed units: Puppeteer (puppet show dps 1.2x > 1.0x, puppet show finale dmg x3 > x2), Scavenger (each trap can now only trigger up to 3 times), King (projectile amount 10 > 8, projectile dmg 10x > 2x), Historian (lowered dmg resist it grants), Medium (phantom duration fixed at 5 sec)
  • Nerfed class: Healer - Lowered base DMG class multiplier (x1.0 > x0.7). This affects the healing of Healers that don't use healing orbs and instead directly heal allies. 
  • Fixed unit: Necromancer (now actually works)
  • Gravedigger's graves taunt hit enemies, this was a feature that wasn't previously stated in its skill
  • New healing particle effects
  • 9 new music tracks
